alicia: We are newly appointed missionaries with AGWM in the Asia Pacific region and we are headed to New Zealand! We are based out of the South Texas district. Missions has always been on my heart and pretty much in my dna. My mom was a missionary's kid and I grew up hearing stories of how much they went through but also how much God blessed them as they furthered His kingdom to heaven! My husband's father is a senior Pastor here in Houston but with the church very mission minded and focused, after serving on staff for several years, we just had to submit to the complete calling that we were called to GO! Our hearts have felt from the get go "God send us to wherever the GREATEST need is". We took a huge leap of faith in January of 2020 and have seen the hand of God on our lives in every way since. He has provided for us thru a global pandemic and given us time to meet with the right people and make connections to change the future of not only New Zealand but Asia Pacific. We want them to know that they can still experience hope and comfort even in the craziest times that we are living in now. There is a hope for their future here and for eternity.
