4th of July weekend!

Yeah to the 4th of July 3 DAY WEEKEND! I am so looking forward to this weekend. We don't have any plans as of yet, but I am sure we will eventually have some. It never fails. These past two weeks are over and man am I thankful for that. I thought that it would never come. I just got done eating my sandwich at my desk and now I feel nausious. I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Well, Josh finally comes home tonight. He has been away all week at Hill Country camp in Kerville. I made it up there Monday and Tuesday night, but I couldn't pull through Wednesday and Thursday night. I felt so exhausted from working all day and then driving an hour to camp and then back home. The band did really great though. They have been practicing forever and it paid off. I think it was just good knowing that they were having fun and worshipping God. That is what is the most important. I think I may leave work an hour earlier than I am suppose to. Maybe I will leave at 2:00pm instead of 3:00pm. I have enough time saved up. Why not start earlier on this long weekend. We'll see. You see I am trying to debate it with myself. Oh, I found this new ticker on someone else's blog and I liked it. It gives you an idea of what is happening to the baby inside. Kinda neat I thought. Only four more weeks until I am out of this 1st trimester. Whooohoo! I haven't been as bad as some woman like throwing up but my goodness I have not felt good at all. Anyways, I have to go relieve the receptionist for lunch. But I will try to write later. If I don't get a chance to, have a great weekend!

I left off with GO SPURS GO!

Okay, so Friday night Josh and I went out on our date. That was excellent. We decided that we were going to go to Benihana's. Mmmmm Yum, it was so good. On our way there we almost was hit by some idiot. I think San Antonio has the worst drivers. Seriously, they don't know how to drive. They think that yield signs mean stop and then they pull out in front of you and when you let them know that you are they by honking at them they flick you off. Not a very good city to drive in. Anyways, so that gets Josh heated pretty bad. We get to the resturant and Josh drops me off at the door. So, when I was standing there waiting for Josh to come in the doors, I noticed that he was walking in with a group of people. I saw that this guy was holding the door for him too. That guy was BRUCE BOWEN from the San Antonio Spurs!!! Oh yeah, he held the door for my husband. How exciting. So they got seated and then when they sat us, I was sitting directly across from him. That is across the resturant but I had a great view. It was rather exciting. Josh and I ate a whole bunch. The guy even gave Josh extra. Then Saturday we had to wake up and go to this all church conference at 9:00 in the morning. So no sleeping in for me. Sunday was church and then yesterday was the first day of camp. Everyday this week I have to work until 3:00 and then drive to Kerville camp to be in the worship band at night. Yeah, I will be exhausted by the end of this week. So that's that. I will write more later.

YEAH

GO SPURS GO!!!!!
Yeah to the Spurs winning the NBA Finals. It sounded like New Year's Eve last night with people driving by and honking the horns and yelling out there windows and setting off fire works. The whole city was roaring with Spurs fans. They showed the River Walk on the news and it looked like Margaritaville. Everyone was celebrating. People were leaving there homes after watching the game all night and driving down town just to be a part of the action. Josh and I of course went to bed. You can't do much when you feel like puking all the time. Anyways, GO SPURS GO!!!!!

Yeah for Tomorrow!

Well, once again it is almost the weekend. That is very exciting. Josh and I are finally getting to go on a date tomorrow by ourselves! We have been doing a lot this week and Josh has been practicing 24/7 for camp worship next week with the band guys so we haven't been able to see much of each other. We did spend quality time together though on Tuesday when we got to see our little one. Everyday, I wake up and feel horrible. I feel like I am going to pass out, throw up, and fall back to sleep. And then I think to myself "this is all for another life". My mom told me that you know you are ready for a baby when you are selfless. About a year ago, all I thought of when I got my pay check is what new outfit I could by or what new pair of shoes, but now when I get my pay check and even before I found out that I was pregnant, I would stop in the baby's section and pick up something little to put in a hope chest for when I did eventually have one. I would rather spend my money on this little life than myself. I know that God will provide for all of my needs and He will give me the desires of my heart. Now, It's just my husband that I have to worry about with all his toys! I'm just kidding, although, Josh is like a big kid sometimes with what he wants. Well, there are my thoughts for now. I am drinking coffee and it tastes awesome. I am trying to get myself awake to start filing again. I feel like there is a never ending cycle of papers flowing through my office. Talk to ya later.

Here is our first baby picture! It is a little seed inside there. We actually saw the heart pumping too. It was so awesome! The baby is the small spot in the middle of the black hole. The doctor marked it out for us. Posted by Hello
