Caleb lovin on his sister

I just love both of them so much! I love Sadie being so little although it feels like she isn't staying a baby for long. She just seems to be growing up right before my eyes. Yesterday, she looked into my eyes and smiled so big at me. I was talking to her and then all of a sudden out came a smile. It melted my heart. Caleb is so much bigger now too. He talking a lot almost too much at times where he is talking back. But he loves his little sister so much. He constantly wants to hold and kiss her. I love that he loves her.

Hello Alicia!

I just read your last 4 posts (catching up). What a beautiful family.

About the ability to breastfeed and give Caleb what he needs without feeling like you don't have enough of you to go around... I just wanted to let you know that you DO have all your children need.

And, it's good for an older sibling to realize that they can't be the center of mom's attention all the time. Like one of the other friends said, "Quality" time is better than the amount of time...

I believe we do a dis-service to our children when we don't set limits or boundaries...they can learn those limits/boundaries in the home of a loving mother

you can make feeding time special with Sadie for Caleb in that he gets to play with a special box of toys during that time, or bring a book and sit beside you and read to you while you nurse.

it teaches him deference.

the mom's in the Bible had no other way to feed their babies - unless, of course, you get some other wives to live in the house with you and you pass the babies around to whomever's turn it is! ha!

i remember doing multiple things while nursing a baby... it can be done! :-) you can actually walk around and do things!!! a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do!!!

anyway, just relax and try to enjoy these days and breathe in the life that God has produced all around you and is producing and growing inside of you! He Lives! and so do you and the love He has given you for your babies and your man.

You've gone through a lot these past few months - with the moves and new baby. Pamper yourself with only doing the bare minimum. You'll do better in the long run.

I'll be praying for you :-)

You are loved and can't wait to see you!!!

Tell Josh hello and ask him about the oranges.... he'll know what I'm referring to...
