What a wonderful time of the year. Wow, I have so much to write about it. I want to type it all out but I don't know if my fingers can keep up with my thoughts. I am glad God already knows what we are thinking that way we don't always have to explain things to Him! Well, Josh and I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary yesterday. 12/11/07! It was a night to remember. He totally wined and dined me except for no wine! Anyways, we went to Benihana's (my favorite) and ate lots of steak and sushi. It was sooooo yummy. Then he suprised me. He took me to the downtown Starbucks on the riverwalk and we got a coffee. Then there was this place that was connected to Starbucks that you can sit at these computers and make cds with any of the songs that you want added to it. So, he told me that I had to pick out songs that he would like and that I was making him a cd and then vice versa. So I put a bunch of songs on the cd that he would like and that we had loved together. It brought back so many memories. We both put songs on our cds that we use to listen to when we would go down to Waxahachie Lake and make out! Oops. Oh well I graduated from there now so its okay to say that I guess! Ha ha. Melissa, you would know what I was talking about. After you pick out all the songs then you burn the cd and you can label them what you want them to be called. Then we went out to our car and starting listening to them together. Each song meant something to each of us. How romantic huh?! We picked Caleb up from his adopted Grandparents and brought him home. Then Josh lit a bunch of candles in the living room and we had a great evening ;) A night that I will always remember. Oh yeah he also got a Happy Anniversary to Josh and Alicia put out on our sign of the apartments. They have this big red moving sign that you can see from the highway. It was so sweet.
Tomorrow we leave for NJ and I am soooooooooooo excited. I can't begin to tell you how much I want to go home and see NJ. We may hit up the city and do some snowboarding too.
Caleb said I Love You for the first time yesterday also!!!!!!! He actually said I yuve you. He made the L sound like a Y. So cute! Josh and I both were clapping for him and he started clapping back and giggling. Oh I could eat him up. I love him! Well, I hope everyone has a good rest of the week and a fun filled weekend. I will try to post some pics when we get up there. There is suppose to be a lot of snow. I hope so. I can't wait for Caleb to see snow!!! Goodnight.

My sister!
My sister just found out last night that she is having a little Girl. Congrats Missy! Now Mom Dad will have a little boy and a little girl to spoil. I wish that y'all lived closer. It would make things a lot easier. Anyways, that picture is of us two Christmas' ago when I was 7 months pregnant with Caleb. My how the time goes by. We were at Radio City Music Hall getting ready to watch the Christmas Spectacular! That was fun. I can't wait to go home again this year. Every other year we try to go up there. This year we are going the week before Christmas and then we get to have our own Christmas here in San Antonio. Okay, well Congrats again to my big sister on her little girl. She is thinking of the name Hannah Joy. I think it is pretty. Joy is my middle name. I thought that was sweet.

Christmas is happening at the Allard's
So, here is a picture of my village that I put up last night. It is called "Christmas in the City". I love it. It has all the different stores in New York City. I can't wait to go visit up there for Christmas this year. I get to go home! Well, I did it. I called my mom yesterday to ask her if she thought I was crazy for wanting to put out the Christmas stuff and she said absolutely not! So, Caleb and I went to Target and bought some Christmas cds and a couple Christmas movies that I watched when I was a kid growing up and we put Christmas decorations all over the house. We danced like wild people to Christmas songs and giggled a bunch. I love making memories like that. I turned on my favorite cartoon and it was "Pluto's Christmas Tree". It had the chipmunks in the Christmas tree. Caleb giggled through the whole thing. Then I turned on "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer". He loved that one too. We didn't get to putting the ornaments on the tree so I was going to do that today or tonight after youth. Poor Bub was worn out by 10:30. He asked for his binky and then went and put his head on the bed. He was ready for nigh night. I can't wait for Christmas this year. It is going to be so much fun. We have almost decided on what Caleb's big thing is this year. We are thinking about buying him a set of drums. He loves drums and we think he just needs a set of his own to play on. I can't wait for him to open them up and see them. I almost started crying last night because it was just so neat to see him watching the cartoons that I use to watch as a child. It is so surreal sometimes to look at him and to think he is mine. And last night made me just choke up a bit because I know how much I enjoy Christmas and that he was having a blast with it too. He loved the songs and the jingle bells and then he loved the cartoons. I don't know, I guess I was just very emotional last night. Anyways, we are ready for Christmas to come!!!

Family Fun
We had a fun family weekend. Mike, Danielle, Michael, Melissa, and Lexi came to visit with Josh, Caleb, and I. The girls dropped the guys (except Caleb) off at one part of the Guadelupe River and then picked them up the next day at another part of it. They decided this year instead of going hunting that they would go camping. They seemed to have had a good time and made some great memories together. Us girls stayed up late catching up on our shows. All three of us got down on the floor in the guest room and watched Grey's Anatamy and Private Practice. It was alot of fun. Michael and Melissa left earlier on Saturday to go back to Houston, but Danielle and Mike were going to stay until after church on Sunday. So, we took Caleb to see the Bee Movie. It was so good and he did sooooo good too. He loved watching it on the big screen. We went to the Imax theatre and got to see it on the really big screen. He was amazzzzzzzzzzzzed. Ha ha. Well, here are some pics from the weekend. The cousins got to play together. They had a blast.

Caleb's Halloween Costume and Mother's Day Out
Okay, so Caleb absolutely loved the chicken outfit in Target. He would not let us take it off of him. We had to check out with the costume on. The guy had to scan Caleb's head with the hand scanner. He was so excited and he kept saying "Bak Bak Bak" like what chickens do. So hilarious! The last picture is him in chapel clapping his hands to "Jesus, You're my Superhero" from Hillsong. He loves his music just like his daddy and mommy.

We've been trying since 10-24-07
Yes, we have been trying to potty on the toilet for about a week now. He hasn't gone in it yet but he LOVES to sit on it and put toilet paper in there. He sees mommy do that so I guess he thinks he is just suppose to sit there and do that. It is sooooo cute. We are going to just keep trying. I know he will eventually catch on. Anyways, just wanted to share some pics of our experience with y'all.

Truly Beautifully Blessed
Nina and Alicia
What a weekend! I am so blessed to be at this church. We had a woman's retreat at the T Bar M Ranch in New Braunfuls. It was great. Our speaker's name was Rita Morrow. She was amazing. I can't help but count the blessings that God has given me. The ladies at this church have taken me in like I have always been here. I feel like I have known everyone for so long and it has only been a couple of months. Kristie Ackerman has been an amazing friend since the beginning. Josh new their family before I did. He grew up knowing Edgar Ackerman. He kept telling me about this awesome family before we got here and I just said "Okay". But now I can see why he was telling me about them. They have taken us in like family. I just feel truly blessed to have such great people surrounding me always uplifting me. It makes a world of difference. It is amazing what happens when you let God really control your life and place it all in His hands having COMPLETE faith in Him. It was very hard to just up and leave a house that we had just had built for our "first" home together. But I gave it to God, and He has done nothing but pour out blessings upon me and my family's life since we decided to let Him do what He wants to do for us. I realized that "Home" is not just a house, it is where you make it and that is in your heart. God, I thank you for being such an awesome father. You have given us shelter and a safe place. You have shown me Your face. I have faith in what You have in store for my life. I know You have Your hand wrapped around me. I thank You for making me who I am today. I know that when I get discouraged You are there for me. I will trust in You. Only You!
