The day after tomorrow

I will be getting induced at 5:30am on Friday. I am very excited and can't wait to meet this new little princess! My mom flew on Sunday afternoon. We have had a good time just hanging out and shopping. We went and got our feet and nails done on Monday. I haven't had a pedicure since my sister's wedding which was Feb 07. Yeah, so it was a well needed pedicure. Tomorrow is going to be crazy. We have a scheduled closing on our house at 1:00pm and hopefully after that we will be able to start moving in. Talk about crunch time. That is how my life is though, just plain crazy! I guess it makes me a stronger person and easy going. You just have to be easy going when you live a life like mine. I guess Caleb is feeling the stress of all of this too because he has been extra naughty lately! I can't go to any store without him screaming on the top of his lungs if he doesn't get a toy. It makes me so embarrassed but there is only so much I can do and then I just have to plain ignore it. Oh well. Well, Friday after I have the baby, Josh will probably go home and try to move some more stuff over to the house from the apartment with his family. They will be getting here sometime tomorrow evening too. This is going to be an exciting weekend so if y'all don't hear from me for a couple of days that is why. I will update as soon as possible!

okay, so I have been a little nervous to write about this but the more and more people that I talk to say it's not that big of a deal and that all their babies were fine. So, Friday, I went in for my weekly check-up and my doctor said that I was at a lose 2 and by the time she was done checking that I would probably be at a 3. Also, she said that I was still 50 effaced. We are still holding out for Friday the 19th although the day I pick up my mom from the airport, which is Sunday, I would love to just make a quick trip to the hospital and start getting induced! Anyways, while I was in for my check-up she told me that I had Group B Strep. She said it was no big deal and that they would just hook up a bag of antibiotics when they hook everything else up. I didn't have this with Caleb and so I didn't really know what it was all about. Well, probably the dumbest thing that I could have done was go home and research it on the internet. The internet said a bunch of scary things like that if the baby gets it from the momma that they can have disabilities such as vision, hearing, spina bifida, and also may cause stillbirths or miscarriages! All of that just totally freaked me out. So I did my crying session in front of my computer while reading all of this and just totally started feeling guilty and was just praying that God would make sure that the little princess in there would not open her mouth until she came completely out of the birth canal. Then I was thinking if she is going to be anything like me she won't be able to keep her mouth shut! A little humor there. But really, I just about lost it. I should have just listen to my doctor and trusted her. She said that it was nothing to worry about and that once they start the anti then it should clear everything up. My doctor has always been calm and really laid back. That is one of the things that I love about her. Nothing seems too big. But I have talked to 2 moms about it that had it and they said everything was fine. And now reading that Melissa had it with Carter and he is fine helps me to feel better. I do know that I won't be able to sleep well until I see that she is fine although I am already having a hard time sleeping as it is being 9 months pregnant! So, please just pray for the peace of mind about the situation if you can remember us in your prayers. I know God has awesome plans for this little girl's life and that everything is in His hands.

First day back to school for MDO

My little man is so sweet. He loved his first day of school today. He had so much fun. When I went to go pick him up this is what he was doing. His new teacher Miss Vicki said he was so excited all day. He was so proud to show me his folder with all his work in it that he did. I love seeing him become smarter each day. I love the fact that he can go to school and not have a problem leaving me. It makes me feel good. I on the other hand had a harder day. I had a classroom of six 12-20month babies that were not so happy at all about their mommies leaving them. Brandy (the other girl that is in the class with me) took turns trying to gain our sanity back. I woke up this morning feeling like I had been in a train wreck! My body is so sore from all the bending over and trying to get the kids to calm down. It was a very hard first day. Thursday will probably be even harder considering that we will have all six from Tuesday and then 2 more more added to that. Mind you, none of these kids have ever been away from the parents side except for two little boys that go to the church. They did really well because they knew the church nursery. It wasn't a strange atmosphere for them. Anyways, it is going to take some adapting for the rest of them. I will only be working until the 11th cause then that following week I am scheduled to have my little girl. And then I will probably be back around the 7th of October. Just enough time to heal up and get used to having 2 kids around. Wow, crazy that I am going to have 2 kids in just under 2 weeks! Time is going fast and slow at the same time. Well, I am glad that Caleb had a great first day back yesterday.

Congrats!

Just wanted to say congrats to Cary and Melissa on the arrival of their new baby boy Carter! They all look great and Mr. Carter looks adorable as ever. We will be praying for you and your new family of five! Love y'all.
